Adios Argentina: Katie Price back in England after whirlwind trip to Buenos Aires... and brings Leandro with her

After less than four days in Argentina, Katie Price jetted home to England this morning with boyfriend Leandro Penna in tow.

Despite plans to spend a week in Buenos Aires with her toyboy boyfriend, the glamour model was clearly missing her children and arrived back in the UK earlier.

Perhaps feeling jet-lagged, the 32-year-old was in no mood to be photographed as she arrived at Heathrow following her 13 hour flight across the Atlantic.


Argentine model Penna, 25, put a protective arm around his girlfriend of six weeks as they walked through the airport.

Writing on her Twitter, she said: 'Back in England to spend my week with the children for Easter holiday wooooooo.'

Although Penna originally planned for Price to meet his parents, who lived 400 miles away from the Argentine capital in Despeñaderos, but they didn't have enough time during her whirlwind visit.

After spending a month with Price in her Surrey home, Penna jetted home alone last Thursday, before his girlfriend joined him four days later.

During their break, Penna was spotted showing Price his favourite restaurants and shops.

But there's no word yet if Price has managed to pick up any Spanish on her trip... or if Penna's English has improved.

Special attention: Price enlisted the help of an airport porter and staff member to escort her through Heathrow


During her brief visit, Price told local reporters that Argentina was 'very different than I imagined. I thought there would be more fields.'

Penna said he was amazed by the paparazzi attention they had received in his homeland.

He said: 'Katie is surprised, we did not expect this. We're very happy and are loving the weather here.'

Katie Price and Leandro Penna keep the public displays of affection coming with a romantic dinner in Buenos Aires

She might be cutting short her trip to Buenos Aires, but it seems Katie Price and Leandro Penna are still making the most of the time they do have together in the Argentinian capital.

The couple hit the town on Wednesday night for a romantic dinner at the Argentine restaurant Happening, located in the Puerto Madero district of the city.

And while the model, 25, kept things casual in a black leather jacket and jeans, Price stood out in a pair of unusual black mesh leggings, which she teamed with a black top and sandals.


The couple, who walked to the restaurant hand in hand, appeared to be trying to keep a low profile, wearing sunglasses and trying not to meet anybody's eye.

However Leandro couldn't resist acknowledging photographers at one point as he grinned and gave them a thumbs up gesture.

And once inside the restaurant the pair showed more affection for one another, cuddling up during the meal.

Leandro kept a protective arm around Katie, who leaned in to his shoulder, and at one point they were seen kissing.

The couple have already publicly displayed their affection for one another since Katie arrived in the city on Monday.

They were also seen arm-in-arm during a shopping trip shortly after her arrival.

Katie had originally planned to meet Leandro's family during her trip to Buenos Aires - but it was revealed on Wednesday that the meeting has been postponed as she is cutting her trip short due to work commitments.

The 32-year-old, who is currently divorcing second husband Alex Reid, will return to the U.K on Friday.

She will however return to South America to meet Leandro's former politician father Hector and mother Mercedes, a hotel owner.

Leandro said on Wednesday, 'We have to rush back to London again. It's something that came up at the last minute. It's nothing to do with Katie's divorce, it's work-related.

We're flying back to London together on Friday and returning to Argentina again once we're done and then I'll take Katie to see my parents.

'The idea now is that Katie gets to know Buenos Aires a little. She loves what she's seen so far. She really likes everything.'

Katie had originally planned to stay until Monday before parting company with her new boyfriend, who has been working for an Argentine TV channel.

Meanwhile, Leandro has said in an Argentine radio interview that the thing he admires most about his new girlfriend is her talents as a businesswoman and, he added, 'professional singer'.

He also admitted that he had been unprepared for how his life would be while dating the model.

'She warned me that it was going to be chaos,' he said, 'but I couldn't have anticipated how much!'
